Not quite if Russian brides are also "Russian bridesmaids" but it sure looks like they are here against their will!
This blog is for anyone who is tired of seeing cliché weddings. Frankly, if I never see another mason jar, vintage mustache and whatcha-ma-call-its in a field, I'll be fine. My hope is that this blog helps you to feel ok as a bride, even if you didn't put an oven in the field or get married in a vintage-circus-themed-rustic meadow. The wedding industry can take itself way too seriously, and it's time we all had a good laugh.

Don't mess with this bride!
What did this poor photographer just say to the bride? Did she just make a pass at her fiance? (He is smiling after all). If I were the photographer, I would run!
Photographer drinks too much, decides to take photos while lying on ground
I can't understand what has happened here. Why would you every use the most unflattering angle for a photo? The only pardonable excuse is that the photographer is a midget, but this angle is much too low for a person of short stature. Maybe their cat/dog/baby is holding the camera?

Isn't she a "cutie"
I don't know about you, but I like to eat my cutie's, not wear them! It actually looks a bit heavy.
Can you think of any man who dreams of seeing his bride walk down the aisle with Clementine's in her hair?
Perhaps the wedding was a Carmen Miranda tribute?

People are still doing this?
Stop it! Really. No more mustaches! It started about six years ago and is not cool anymore. Why, why why?
DIY...T?
WTH?
Yes, I recently came upon a blog that was titled "DIY Vintage teacup wedding theme"
!What is so wrong with your husband/venue/relationship/brain that you have to proclaim that the "theme" of your wedding is "DIY vintage teacups?" Further, what is a "do-it-yourself" teacup? I can understand that if you are having a tea party (or if you're five) that you might want to have "tea party" theme, but why for the wedding? Perhaps your best friend stole you DIY vintage shrinky dink" theme....?

Groom sentenced to 6 caning lashes moments before photo is taken

This groom literally looks like he has just been arrested. Or sentenced to six caning lashes. Or at the very least just smelled the worst case of gas in the world.
The photographer who took this photo mentioned that she had never seen such a happy couple. Where the heck does she live? North Korea?
*****
The photographer asked me to remove her photo which I am happy to do.
Her photo quality is excellent and of course this site does not insult the talent or skill level of photographers. But my blog does poke fun at ridiculous wedding poses. No different than sites that make fun of ridiculous wedding photos from the 80's.
I will leave a link to the photo on her website. It is the top photo. Enjoy!

Flowers in the Attic engagement shoot
Yes, this is REALLY an engagement photo! Poor girl just woke up and the photographer is already taking her photo. Please, let them escape first!
Taxidermy gone wild
Ladies and gentlemen, if you want to be original, this is how it is done! Weird, odd and so awesome. I don't know if they are taking themselves really serious (kind of hoping they are) or if they are half serious and half kidding, but either way, thank YOU for doing something interesting and original.

Thank you to a fellow commenter rachelolio for bringing my attention to this.
